How iSeal® Works

Permanent Puncture Sealing. Continuous Protection.

iSeal® Heavy Duty Tire Sealant is a proprietary, water-based formulation engineered to provide permanent, on-the-wheel puncture sealing and continuous protection against air loss throughout the service life of the tire.

Unlike temporary tire sealants, iSeal® combines specialized fibers, fillers, and a stable liquid carrier to create durable, flexible seals that withstand normal tire movement and operating conditions.

The Four-Step Sealing Process

1. Continuous Distribution

As the tire rotates, iSeal® distributes throughout the interior, providing continuous protection against punctures and air loss.

2. Immediate Puncture Response

When a puncture occurs, escaping air carries specialized fibers and fillers into the opening, where they begin to accumulate and interlock.

3. Permanent Mechanical Seal

Normal tire rotation and flexing compress the fibers and fillers into a durable, flexible, airtight seal without removing the tire from the wheel.

4. Ongoing Protection

Once a puncture is sealed, the remaining iSeal® continues protecting against future punctures, bead and rim leaks, pinholes, and air loss associated with tire porosity.

The Beaver Dam Principle

Think of how a beaver builds a dam. Larger branches establish a foundation, while smaller branches and materials fill the remaining openings until water can no longer pass through.

iSeal® works similarly. Specialized fibers interlock within a puncture while smaller particles fill the remaining spaces. Tire rotation and flexing compress these materials into a permanent, airtight seal.

One Application. Protection for the Life of the Tire.

Sealing performance depends on tire construction, puncture location, operating conditions, and proper application. iSeal® does not restore structural tire damage.
